Voice Lessons
Voice is one of the most challenging but also one of the most rewarding instruments we teach. With the Spaulding Method you are not forced to focus on opera if your desire is to learn country. We also do not teach techniques that are "good to know" but next to impossible to use in real-world live music scenarios.
Our school has found that many of our students that have always wanted to learn voice have quickly been frustrated by their teachers in the past. With their old teachers they felt that after a lot of effort they only gained experience in scales and fairly abstract singing techniques and these techniques did not directly benefit their singing in the ways they desired. Years would pass and they would still be left wondering when they would be able to deem themselves a "vocalist" and not a "vocal student".
At the Spaulding School of Music our teachers were born from the stage and teach from that perspective. We do not conduct dry recitals but rather choose to build live stages. We train students to win in the real-world music industry. Many of our students actually move on to careers as professional musicians.
